Looks like the Mat-Su Borough is wanting to ban shooting ranges, for those of you that thought things like Virginia couldn't happen in AK, well it looks like the start of it here. Not only does this prevent any more gun ranges in the mat-su; but it can even stop you from shooting on your own land. Major overreach attempt.

I honestly never thought it would happen in the Mat-Su Valley, Anchorage maybe, but not the Valley. Since this is next Friday, I unfortunately won't be able as I have no leave on the books, except 8 hours and I am burning it in 2 months for the wife's surgery. I will try to make it to the last hour though and hopefully there is a good turn out.

I honestly never thought it would happen in the Mat-Su Valley, we got killed in the last election. 10 percent turnout. Were are blue throughout.
