I have a Sport King, handed down from my father. There's not even a hint of rifling left in it, but it still functions just fine. I'd guess we've put well over a million rounds through that little gun over the last 40 years. Many a rodent and tin can have met their demise at the hands of that gun.

Never have been good at pictures, Mine from 1969 is just like Huntsman22's right down to the box. Great pistols, just don't use HV ammo and replace the springs regularly and they will last a lifetime and more.

when I left the military in 97, high standards were still in inventory at weapons station crane IN. the navy r&p team was lobbying to have them given as EIC prizes instead of being destroyed. don't know if it ever materialized or not, but SEALS had them and were using them for silencer work.

I had a Double Nine when I was a kid, my very firstest handgun. Killed squirrels, rabbits, raccoons, etc. with it. It got stolen, or I'd still have it, It was a good shooting little revolver.
You can roll a turd in peanuts, dip it in chocolate, and it still ain't no damn Baby Ruth.
