Bump for an excellent rifle priced at a bargain. Very usable cartridge, as to recoil-does it kick more than your .270? it does but the recoil is manageable. Nothing you want to spend much time with on the bench but for what it is intended to do such as off hand or from shooting sticks there should be no problem. There are a lot of medium bore chamberings that are much less pleasant to work with.
