Zippered knife case, A.G. Russell has them in stock.

Zippered knife case, A.G. Russell has them in stock. I asked the same question and this is what I did. Just got them yesterday and I’m happy with them. They stock several different sizes and are reasonably priced. Mine were all for fixed blades 6-12”

Stored in the knife case with a light coating of oil on the blade and in the leather sheath?

if you only have a few padded cases are nice. When you start to have drawers full of them they start to get expensive and take up a lot of room. You can make a nice shadowbox for them. My high end knives are all in the safe in padded cases.

How about the tackle boxes with the dividers? Plano makes one case that has some sort of rust inhibitor in it. The knives wouldn’t fit tight like they would in individual padded cases but it should work fine for storage at home

I leave my "good" knives out on a shelf. Just nice seeing them, much like art.
