I ended up with two of these. So one needs to go.

I've only shot this rifle four times to make sure it was functioning properly. It was about a 2" group at 50 yards leaning off a tree in my back yard. So it should be a decent shooting rifle. The action has a little rattle in it. I think this was kinda common on 760s? But it functioned properly. Not a bad looking rifle.

I think I could do $475 shipped from me to your FFL.

Also interested in trades or offers. I have allot of interests- make offer.

I've read here on the fire that guys replace them with a plastic cover. I've had several of these and this is the first one that rattled. It's not too bad. But if you shake the gun you can hear it.

The first 760s were commonly referred to as chinkers due to the dust cover rattle, when they went to the plastic cover the rattle disappeared, I have one identical in 30-06

Had a question about the magazine. It's a little ugly but fully functional. Looks like it sat in a parts bin for awhile.

Had a couple PMs asking about trades.... Not looking for anything specifically... But

I've thought about it a bit. I primarily like older things (that's what led me to the 760). More interested in an ugly old marlin than a new synthetic stocked rifle, etc.

Would be interested in anything that is straight walled (as I hunt in Ohio allot) and also revolvers.

Youth rifles may interest me as well as I have three young kids coming up.

Would also possibly be tempted by a nicer new crossbow. Both my bows are 20+ years old now.
