He was a great basketball player - as have been many others. He showed that he was a flawed human being - as have we all. Apparently he had a large and expensive helicopter for convenience in getting around SoCal and his pilot flew into the side of a hill.
I feel bad for his family and friends. But - why the overwhelming TV hoopla last night and today? Does not figure. A tragedy convenient to the MSM. The MSM will utilize it to distract the public from Trump's defense in the ongoing impeachment trial.

Some of you boys really need to do some self evaluating, it's quite embarrassing..... The Fire has gotten unbearable for me. Grouchy old men. Kobe was the hardest working man in the NBA, lived by the rule that to be the best you've got to work the hardest, and he did. Stop. Just f****** stop. He put himself far in front of his team. It was more important for him to make the big bucks than surround himself with good players. Good Gawd, some of you are so f****** stupid. So whats your point? The man worked hard in order to make money, I got no beef with that. Hope you find peace brother. I'm fine. Stop worshiping a liberal racist. Not even worth the time to respond.... So don't. All: Sadly it is looking more and more like it was "pilot error" that caused the demise of the 9 (nine!) people on board Mr. Bryants helicopter.
Time for the lawyers to get rich off of this tragedy.
One report I have recently heard was that the helicopter pilot was warned he was "flying to low"!
I don't know - what ever the cause it is sure a shame.
