WOW!!!! I will be praying for her to have a complete healing. I will be praying for the Dr.'s, Nurses, and all involved with her healthcare to be given the knowledge and wisdom to make the right choices when they need to be made. I will also pray for you to be comforted and to have peace about all this.

Thanks again to all my friends here!!! She is doing much better today. GI doc pretty sure no bleeding. He’s a hoot! There’s possibllity she may be discharged today. We’ll have to see. Chances are good.
What happened???
She had a very serious bleed in upper section of colon. GI doc said when he got to it, li looked like someone squeezing an orange. It was up right next to where small intestine joins. Also appears we called 911 just at the right time. As she would have probably bled out if we had waited very much longer. Looks like this is something that happens to some VAD patients after years of anti-coagulate drugs. She has been on coumadin for years. We monitor her INR count weekly from the house.
Just one more thing we have to keep an eye on now.
