Some cool stuff up here, pun alert.
Spent a couple of weeks on dayshift, but been nights for three... Limited photo ops. Seen caribou, red fox, Arctic fox, hare, Ptarmigan, thought I saw wolves chasing a caribou... Thought I saw a group of MuskOx. Not much Beaver.
Some kickass facilities out here. $$$$$$$$$

Yes the Nazis were on the right track. They’d nationalized their central bank, effectively outlawed usury, denied the franchise to ethnic Jews, and built a strong central government that discouraged several forms of degeneracy.
1939 Germany had the most powerful economy and military in the history of Europe. GDP had doubled in 6 years. Unemployment had gone from over 30% to nearly 0%. The standard of living enjoyed by Germans was the highest in the world at the time.
In expelling Jews, the Nazis were doing what roughly 100 countries had done before them. There is a pattern there, obviously, which does not revolve around the NSDAP.

Here's an action shot. First existing snow and hauled in snow along with lots of water is applied and compacted to encapsulate the tundra. Then the ice chips and lots more water is used to make a road surface. We're in much rougher terrain than one may see elsewhere.. Not much snow here, just a few inches. Can't show the equipment... Road needs to support 1.6 million pounds at 32 feet wide without doubt for oil rigs. Arctic fox. Cute little chits begging for a 17hmr but of course we can't. They say 90? percent of the red and Arctic fox carry rabies. No bs, feed them and fly home... Our work area is flown with FLIRs to clear for polar bears before we can work. Far enough from the coast here, the bears are out on the sea ice now, which does still exist... But supposedly during big blows some end up inland.
