For Sunday, I have "Guns of Navarone" and "Midway" ready by the DVD player, and two weedeaters in need of some TLC. Both will need the gas tanks cleaned out, new fuel lines, and the carbs run through the sonic cleaner. Man, ethanol is the gift that keeps on giving. If I get both of those up and running, I'll turn my attention to an old Craftsman 10/28 snowblower that's been sitting in a warehouse for 3-4 years. The engine does run, but it just needs some lubrication, run sea-foam through the system, change to synthetic oil, and loosen up all the seized axles & nuts & bolts. New belts are on order. This thing is a BEAST!

I'd like to be able to say that I'm not going to watch the Superbowl because of the homo and anti 2nd amendment commercials.
But I wasn't going to watch it anyway.
Watching a buncha steriod'ed up 'boos running into each other all day isn't my idea of entertainment.

I don't think I'm watching the game, but if I do, I'll be supporting the 49ers. I'm a life long Raider fan and come hell or high water I can't support the Chiefs. I'd like to watch but I have 3 reasons for not: 1) we don't have cable, 2) I don't really want to sit in a sports bar listening over loud drunk [bleep], 3) I don't want to drive through snow, sharing the road with loud drunk [bleep], to get to a sports bar. So it eems more likely I'll stay home and load ammo or something of that sort. Kinda bummed. Whatever.
Anyone who thinks there's two sides to everything hasn't met a M�bius strip.

We are gonna cook a ham. Mom is gonna make potato salad.
Little Smokies in bbq.....nachos.....relish tray.....hot rolls.
Some fun drinks for the kids. They like that Martinelli sparkling cider.
Few beers for the rest of us.
Besides watching cartoons and John Wayne movies with Young Daniel, the Super Bowl up at my folks house is the only TV I watch.
Certainly the only live TV.
