1.) Can I be competitive with the Beretta 1301 and mag extension?
2.) Need recommendations on belt rig. Shell and mag carriers specifically.
3.) Do any of you shoot revolver? And if so, what moon clip carrier do you use on your belt?
4.) Who makes a holster for the Ruger Super GP100? Or, who can make me one?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks in advance. 1. Yes, as long as it's reliable. I don't know what mods they have from the factory for loading but you'll probably want to open the loading port a bit more. Keep mag tube spring tension light enough that you can load easily. Same with the shell catch. Don't get anything less than a 12 round tube. 2. Shotgun shell carriers.... What do you want to spend? King Competition is what the winners at the shotgun world shoot are carrying. I use Safariland and they've been really good. And 40% off codes can be found. Set them up on ELS clips so you can ditch them when you don't need them. Or mount them on a chest rig. Mag carriers.... Again, Safariland seem to be pretty good. I"ve also used Blade-Tech. I've got CR Speed now but don't really like them. I really like setting everything up on ELS.

12? Jesus Christ. I was hoping nine would be ideal. LOL.
I'll spend whatever. If there's an advantage.
Off to google some more.
Thank you.

You can start with 8 in the tube and you’ll load in multiples of 4. There’s a big advantage to being able to load 4 right off the bat.

Shoot what you have, you will not be competitive at first. The 1301 is fantastic (of course I shoot one). Plenty of cast off equipment for sale too.

I shoot Glocks in USPSA and 3 gun and don't know a lot about revolver holsters, but I'd think you could get something decent from Blade-Tech or Comp-Tac. I've never seen anyone shoot a revolver in 3 gun though. A fair number of people shoot them in USPSA. For more competition revolver info (or anything else relating to action competition) I'd go to the Brian Enos forum.
