Drive 6hr round trip to a cabelas in another state, all for a silly little $225 atv trailer they ran out of warehouse inventory on, but i knew which brick/mortat had one and HAFTA have it.

Also known as bad weather, gotta get out of the house regardless.

Golldammed motion detector lights. A guy can’t even piss off his porch in peace any more.

I put out trail cameras, so I can be in the woods. I was out yesterday, and a different place today. I usually keep them out to mid march or so.

I guess it takes a lot of different people to make a world.

I have to go cut firewood right now too—just to keep warm.

LOL, you till in lime and fertilizer a month or so before you do your first planting, it remains beneficial for the rest of the seasons plantings as well, I cut and hand split firewood for exercise, it would be easy to write a check or buy a hydraulic splitter, plus a 166 dollar total electric bill for a 3K square foot house and two 1400 sq ft shop buildings is pretty sweet too.

What do the 'fire folks do to keep cabin fever at Bay?

Work. Coach. Donate time to various civic/community causes.
Hunt. Hike. Fish.
Build.

Cripes.

Anyone who doesnt have enough work, chores, or hobbies t stay involved and gets cabin fever is, imo, doing things wrong.

I bought another run-down farm and am tearing down most of the outbuildings and fixing up the farm house.

At least that's what one guy in Alaska does.

That's weird--why do you list your residence as Michigan if you actually live in Alaska?

Over the years the one thing I have observed in the different groups I follow is that the members quibble and squabble over minutiae.
That seems to be the typical coping mechanism.

Some just go outdoors and enjoy life's possibilities!
