I think Pelosi has had enough of it all. She tried to talk the usual suspects out of their impeachment fiasco but the usual suspects forced her hand on it and now she's got to live with it on her record. Schiff, Nadler, and Schumer control the Democratic Party and Pelosi is just the figurehead that the fall out from their actions get dumped on.
She's an old, tired woman that's been slapped around by both sides.
Tearing up that speech last night was her way to say, "fug this whole situation".

That is not entirely accurate. SHE violated protocol by improperly introducing him, which interrupted the process. At least it's plausible deniability but still, I would have done the same thing after what she put him through for no reason.
