Never rotate them. If properly balanced and aligned from the start, with air maintained, they don't need it. Necessary tire rotation to keep even wear is an indicator that something is out of kilter in your system. Better to fix the system than rotate the tires.
AND for those saying to keep the best-treaded tires on the front of a vehicle, it has been proven numerous times on track tests with wet, dry, ice, and snow that the best traction should always be on the rear tires for both front- and rear-wheel drive vehicles.

Every 10,000km for me. I include the spare in the rotation so all 5 should get worn down the same.

Every 5K. Same as synthetic oil changes.

I have the notorious Firestone Transforce A/T LT285-60/R20E tires on my truck. There are many complaints about poor wear on the internet sites. I rotate tires every oil change, 6K and have made it to 53K. The tires are square and have good tread yet. I expect to get 2-3 more cycles (oil changes) out of the tires. Wish me luck.

Every 5,000 at Discount Tire. On their second rotation, after 10,000 miles of use, my Michelin Defenders had used 1/32" of tread. Service manager said "I knew these were good tires, but I didn't think they were THAT good." I just bought a set of four Michelin Defender LTX M/S tires for my daughters Subaru Outback. I wanted to make sure she had the best tires available since she'll be a new driver and these are definitely the best I've found for a SUV. For pickups, I'm still a fan of BF Goodrich AT KO2s though. Will rotate between 8-10k miles......

When it starts shaking bad enough to notice. If I did it at the recommended interval, I’d be in the tire shop all the time.

Maybe the correct description should be "revolve the tyres" but it doesn't sound right...

Every 3k when I change my oil. Have my own hoist so it's no big deal. With 3 vehicles to maintain, doing it every other oil change gets confusing and I forget if it's due or not.Gives me something to do while to oil drains anyway, and can inspect brakes at the same time.

You don't experience more wear on your drive tires? Or don't you care about that?

Have my own hoist so it's no big deal. Man, that would be awesome. The concrete ain't as soft as it used to be.

10K is fine for most car tires. If you have a 4X4 vehicle with more aggressive AT or mud tires much more often. The more aggressive the tread the more often you need to rotate. I rotate the tires on my 4X4 trucks every oil change. Never rotate them. If properly balanced and aligned from the start, with air maintained, they don't need it. Necessary tire rotation to keep even wear is an indicator that something is out of kilter in your system. Better to fix the system than rotate the tires. Completely false. The front tires do the steering and on an unloaded vehicle support much more weight than the rear. They will not only wear sooner, but the outside edges will wear due to cornering, having them always turn in the same direction also causes wear patterns to develop.. On trucks that regularly haul stuff the rear tires will have more weight on them. Not only that but a proper rotation also alternates the direction the tires turn. None of that has anything to do with proper alignment or balance. On a front wheel drive car there is an argument to be made to never rotate and just let the front tires wear out faster and replace them when they wear out. You'll get much longer wear on the 2 on the rear since they are never on the front. I can see that argument on trucks with dual rear wheels too.
Most people don't really want the truth.
They just want constant reassurance that what they believe is the truth.

A good principle to guide me through life: “This is all I have come to expect, standard lackluster performance. Trust nothing, believe no one and realize it will only get worse…”

Consensus seems to be every oil change or 5 to 6 thousand miles. Now that I'm retired that will be much easier to do. Was putting 25k miles on per year.

A lot of shops out here say 7500 but I make sure they are rotated every 5K same as when I worked in my Uncle’s tire shop as a boy. I get extremely good mileage and even wear out of my tires.
