165 SST in front of big game. I think 56 grains.
I’d have to look.
Think they got discontinued, Once I’m out of those I’ll probably go to game changers as they are affordable and I can use them on paper and deer.
For elk I only use ttsx

All of them do something better than the 30-06, but none of them do everything as well.

I need to give that one a shot with Partitions. I couldn’t get enough H4831SC in the case with a 200 AB and keep Bullets seated.

Might have to try it RL17 or something that takes up less space.

59gr RL-22 is averaging 2725 in my latest '06, to get in enough H-4831SC a man needs to use a drop tube, those loads were in a pre-64 '06 at 3.340 inch, this Sako runs 3.360 inch, the h-4831 loads went to 2800 fps and were extremely accurate, brass held up very well at those pressures.

I used a long one but the 200 ABs were just enough longer that I was danged near in the rifling in my P64 FWT while trying to keep them in place. The Partitions should be good.

I’ll reengage this one though.

10-4 Big Buddy, I just put five 200gr partitions in a 3/4 inch circle at 100 yards, average 2726 fps, i'll take that all day any day for a 400 yard hunting rifle, this old Sako 30-06 is ready to go, shooting dew North with a 11 mph South wind kicking it in the butt, all good, clicked 6 right and 1 down after group and barrel cool down, had the last round hit dead center 3 inches high at 100.

Ready for heavy African antelope, plains game, and anything here too. cool
