Brady Ellison of the United States set a record yesterday that may stand for a long time to come. He shot 3 consecutive 300's over 3 days at the Vegas Shoot. Congrats Brady.

The World Archery Festival in Las Vegas is the premier indoor shoot in the world. This year they had a record 3,800 shooters and $490,000 in prize money.

the class Brady Ellison shoots does not pay that well, the record Brady Ellison shot is almost a miracle for a finger recurve no peep class , most people don`t really understand how great of a accomplishment under the pressure and at Vegas. i hope some day to meet this great archer ,Brady is very humble man with great archery skills !

$10,000 for the win. Would guess Hoyt matched it in contingency and another grand or so from Easton. Not bad for a weekend. Still nothing compared to the $58,000 (for the win) $15,000 (PSE contingency) and $4-5K more from release and arrow contingencies that Kyle ended up with.

That 900 is one record that should stand for a long, long time.

No he didn't make what Kyle did but his contingency money is a lot more than you are taking into account. Brady also makes more than Kyle on his likeness and endorsements.

Brady is the most successful recurve/Olympic archer in US history. He is still young and only getting better. Granted if Butch didn't have the olympic sanctions placed on him when he was in his prime He and Brady would be very close. Sucks he got screwed and had to fight to get allowed in.
