Read "Crowded Hour", about Teddy and the Rough Riders, and got some badly needed sleep.

Maybe for the fifth? tenth? time. But still better than most shows.

Oscars? Most Hollywood freaks turn me off with continuing regularity. Becoming a domino effect.

Crossfire Trail is a great movie! One of my favorites.

The Oscars were on?

Ingwe: As I woke up this morning (six am'ish) I turned on the TV and it was on a channel showing a synopsis of last night's liberal, back patting fest and in about 90 seconds I could no longer stand the liberal jibberish and lies and turned the channel.
They even showed the liberal, treasonous, bitch "hanoi jane" "doing her part for the environment" by wearing the same dress she wore 3 years ago! I guess it saves the environment that she didn't start up her car and go to rodeo drive and shop for a new dress this year?
Anyway I also was quickly sickened by the words and inferences of the demonrats on TV this morning.
I wonder if it will eventually get so bad I can't even attend a movie theater and have some popcorn because the "politics" on the screen will become unbearable.
Sad.

Kid0917: That may come to fruition someday?
By the way I very much enjoyed that picture (The Ghost And The Darkness!) myself.
And the movie "The Ghost And The Darkness" made a profit of just over $30,000,000.00 (thirty million dollars!) for its producers!
That is a LOT of money but NOTHING compared to the $202,000,000.00 (two hundred and two million dollars!) in PROFIT that the movie "Out Of Africa" made for it's producers!

I saw the title of this thread and thought, “Seriously?”
I’m not much for TV entertainment of any kind.

You are a tougher man than I for sure. TV irritates me any time, but I don’t know how anyone can have one of those things going in the morning, first thing. Few years ago my brothers and I were traveling together on a hunting trip and my one brother would turn on the tv in the motel room as soon as he got up in the morning. I broke him of that habit fast. Those tv people’s voices, all that morning “news” bs...fingernails on the chalkboard...just makes my nerves raw.
