Conn. high school girls file lawsuit arguing that allowing transgender athletes to compete is sex discrimination.

Three female high school athletes in Connecticut, along with their families, filed a federal lawsuit Wednesday to prevent transgender athletes from competing in girls track and field meets, arguing that biologically male athletes have a physical advantage.

They should not be allowed!

Nobody REALLY believes in gender equality. We all know different.

Sports is a prime example.

This was being discussed on local radio yesterday.

It was interesting to see who quickly the conversation lead to the conclusion that the only "fair" solution was to cancel all girls sports.

Under Title 9, schools are required to spend as much on Women's spots as men's, so cancel women's sports, you also have to cancel all men's sports because it's the only "fair" solution.

Now consider the affects of cancelling all schools sports upon the American Culture because of a small number of edge cases.....

XX chromosome is female, XY is male.

'Feelings' don't change that.

Or let them play/compete co-ed. One team for boys and girls.

Should work out just fine in this age of gender equality.

The weaker sex screams for equality...…….until they are presented with it.

Well, this problem could have been predicted. The courts are now in a pretty hard position when it comes to protecting girls and women. President Reagan said this equality push would be misused by men.

What would happen if girls refuse to compete against one?

This guy has been dominating women's cycling for the last couple years. He couldn't compete as a man so he decided he was a woman.

At the very least, they should require that a man be castrated and de-donged before he can compete but even that wouldn't be fair by a long shot. It would, however, cut out the men who want to win at something without whacking themselves.

Meeting testosterone guidelines, but that does not negate original growth, muscle, strength advantages perhaps, form when she was growing up with more testosterone.

I dont see the quuerrs winning this one and ending women's ability to compete.

We would not have participants in world competition or Olympics as I dont think the organizations would allow men to compete against the women of other countries.

Nor do equal rights

The insanity is coming home to roost. That’s all it is. As whacko as this world has become, something has to give. It can’t continue on as normal when things are abnormal. They could let the gender confused have their own teams. Kind of like Special Olympics.

I don't like it, but there has also been several cases where women and girls have sued to be able to participate in men's sports or teams. Seems it should play out equal both ways.

As far as I am concerned they could drop school sports - school is supposed to about education, there is too much emphasis put on sports at all levels. Sports are a drain on resources that should be used to help educate for the real world.
