Like it? Why?
Don't like it? Why again?
What cartridges have you tried it in?
I'm looking at it after having done some reading for .45 ACP primarily, with a few others thrown in .

Well, other than a reference to it being a "hot" powder in an old .45 thread here I guess there's not been much use by forum members. I may just get a 1lb can and try it out this summer anyway, for scheidts and giggles and such.
Enjoy the day folks and thanks again for getting this forum up and running.

Lots of better powders for .45 ACP. I initially got some for reloading .357 SIG and bought more for reloading 10mm. Sierra's latest manual lists it as a top powder for "hunting loads" in quite a few auto calibers like the two I mentioned as well as 9mm +P; and some loads for .38 Spec +P and .357 magnum.
Meters well, decent bulk, and good accuracy as well as clean-burning. I'll be working with it some more.

Thanks Mesabi.
No 9mm here, at least not of the x19 variety.
And no 38/357 right now either, but that might be addressed this summer.

It will work in almost any case but Like in 38, 380, excels in 9mm & 40 . Much better choice ed for 45 is sport pistol. Be 86 , flows good ,case fill not too bad, low flash , not real dirty either. Economical.

thanks ld,
the low flash and clean burn properties are what I was interested in.........and economy never hurts either.

I used a bit in 10mm, 357, and 45 colt. I plan to try it in others. Seems pretty close to long shot or power pistol with less flash. I plan to try more soon. Clean and meters decent, flash suppressed and on sale for $20 at a local store.

$20?
hard to beat that if you like it even in one or two calibers.
Thanks for the info.
