The free public range on the Sleepy Creek WMA closed over that nonsense too. How the Fugg do you miss a mountain?
I wouldn't be surprised if some of those are false flags.
Pissed off about a range?
Put a couple bullets through your roof,
file a complaint.
They get closed, and pay for your roof!
Local range shoots trap toward a house. (I think the house is newer that the range.)
They have had incident of shot falling on the house.
A new rule of no 1 1/4 oz loads (stupid) and nothing bigger than
7 1/2 shot has worked. As long as it's trap shooters shooting.
Any strangers or hunters are closely watched for ammo.
Hunters are forever showing up with everything from promo #8
to Turkey loads.
