Well I dont understand this. I have 1" Leupold rings on my Mark V Weatherby. The scope I pulled off was a Hawke that measures 25.3mm or 1". I ordered a new Docter scope from Germany and tried to mount it this morning but it doesn't fit. The tube measures 25.9mm? That rules out it being a 30mm scope so what do I have here and what rings does it take?

26 mm tube diameter is, or at least was, not uncommon in European scopes. Rings to suit are available too, as are inserts to fit 30 mm rings.

Talley makes a 26mm in their quick detach line.
Are you part of the problem or part of the solution?

Burris z rings with inserts will fit. Redfield had 26mm in the Jr. & Sr. lines. There are several for picatinney mounts for 26mm or add the inserts to 30mm rings. You can also lap out 1" rings to 26mm, Sinclair made a 26mm lap but I don't see it listed on their site anymore, maybe they would make one. A 1" with crocus cloth wrapped around it would work which is probably why they stopped listing the 26mm lap.
I am a fan of the Talley's so that is what I would get.

What model Docter did you get? They haven't been produced in a couple years now. Current production is labeled Noblex.
The Basic, Unipoint and Classic from Docter are exceptional optics.
