I sold a post 64 Win 70 t0 a gentleman at the gunshow saturday. It had a scope mounted and the rear sight was gone. If I remember correctly it serial #ed as a 1975 gun, it had a monte carlo, plastic forend whiteline butpad, and grip cap. Well now h is calling me wanting a rear sight,Numrich has none, Jack's first has none,it looks like in the schematics and if memory is right it was the short Wlliams that slid forward on about a 25 degree angle.
Any help will be appreciated, he doesn't understand that if he leaves the scope on the sight is too high. Maybe he wnt to take the scope off and shoot irons but hell he is older than I am and I don't shoot irons ant 67 years old.

So the guy bought the gun from you knowing it didn't have a rear sight and is now bugging you to get him one? He should be a man and go find his own rather than making it your problem. You should politely tell him to kiss off.

Since you are a 'smith, I suspect he wants you to MAKE one. Caveat emptor.

You might be surprised.

Numrich, brownells or ebay can be your friend....
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA
