I’ve stayed away from these threads but going against my better judgement I’ve decided to respond.....
Tom, I know that you have endured some abuse here, abuse that was unfounded and hurtful. Bringing your wonderful boy into an argument is just plain wrong as is anyone suggesting that was God’s way of punishing you. I made my opinions VERY clear in those dustups and I stand by what I said then. The problem is that you are now doing the same stuff to those that you have a bone to pick with. I understand that you still carry that anger around but I have to ask you if it isn’t misplaced anger? You seem to be using the same tactics that you abhorred and it’s not a good look on you. I hope you don’t think I’m jumping your ass because I’m not, I’m simply calling it as I see it. I wish you and your family all the best and I hope you can set your anger aside, attempt to forgive those that have brought you down to this level and resume your positive contributions to this site.

Oh my God, you drove and brought food and drinks when my buddy and I showed you around some hunting areas? What a crazy concept. Maybe that's not how you do it, but that's how my buddies and I have done it for years.
Good look spinning this one buddy. That’s totally acceptable if you’re showing someone YOUR hunting areas. It’s also completely acceptable to eat the whole bill if you’re the one who invited someone along for the day. If they pitch in or bring some food and drinks to share, then great. But you’re the host, and shouldn’t expect anything from your guests. And keeping score to bring up at a later date is a total chick move.

I really abused my body as a younger man and am paying the price now. Some things were preventable but many weren’t, not in that line of work anyway. If it isn't insomnia, it's the neurological pain in my left leg and if it isn't that, it's my bladder that betrays me.Without medication it is rare that I sleep through the night. Even medicated, I may wake up, but the new medication helps me feel more rested.
