Bloomberg will be too old & even more unelectable by then than he is now.

You might well be right about the trend, but they'll need a better candidate than anyone that available right now.

The dems have historically not backed a proven loser. Hillary was proven in 2016. Times they are a-changin" however.

Ethan may be onto something. The media will beat this Corona thing to death whether or not it has merit. If it affects our economy to any great degree, all bets are off.

I'd agree, except that a man with $60 Billion dollars and ambition won't be easily deterred.

It doesn’t matter if Bloomberg has enough money to shoot an elk in a pen......doesn't make him remotely intelligent on the debate stage.

Democrats lose in the next election no matter what they do or run. They have moved to far left for 75% of the democrats. Independents are lost. The majority of democrats do not want communism. Most illegals came here to escape communism.

I never thought Biden would actually be the nominee. They won't nominate Sanders because he is not a democrat.
Someone will emerge at the convention. Don't know who it will be. I also think the democrats are concentrating their efforts on increasing their control of the House and taking control of the Senate. If they are successful it wont really matter who is president. If Trump is re-elected all he would have is the power of the veto and there are enough RINOs to override his veto on some issues.
In 2024 the democrats will most likely win the White House based on past elections.

Well, yeah. That's the trend. The electorate gets restless for something differentevery 8 years. I could get Newsome/Cuomo elected in 2020, if they'd listen to me. Fortunatey, they won't.

After they lose Nov 3, the Dems will go into soul searching mode and they will need to decide who they are. Are they classic NE Kennedy type Old School liberals, or are they wacko Left Coast SF/Portland/Seattle full on Socialist/Communist/Progressives?

Which faction will win? In past election cycles after they've gone far Left and were humiliated, they came back to the Center to win.

McGovern got smoked, they went to Carter. Mondale and Dukakis got bludgeoned and they went to Clinton. Even Al Gore would be a moderate with the new bunch.

If they stay Socailist/Progressive, if the AOC branch takes over, the door is open for the GOP in 2024.

Dick Morris, a former adviser to Bill Clinton, predicted Sunday that Michael Bloomberg and Hillary Clinton are plotting a "scheme" that would allow Clinton to become the 2020 Democratic nominee.

Speaking with radio host John Catsimatidis on "The Cats Roundtable," Morris said that he believes Bloomberg will continue to campaign and spend loads of cash to syphon support from Sen. Bernie Sanders and trigger a brokered convention.

"Here's the deal that I think is going down. I think Hillary and Bloomberg have gotten together and cooked up a scheme," Morris said.

Morris went on to explain:

Nobody will be nominated on the first ballot, and it'll go to a second ballot. Now, the problem is that the party establishment doesn't have a candidate. They can't do Bloomberg because he got killed in the debate. ... Can't do [Joe] Biden because he's already lost the frontrunner status. … [Pete] Buttigieg looks like a high school kid at the Model UN, and he's not gonna be able to have it, certainly not against [President Donald] Trump. [Elizabeth] Warren is third, but she's pretty far to the left, and people are not gonna want to— they're not going to want to trust her.

And when you put it together, it will go to a second ballot and then I think Hillary Clinton enters the race. And the superdelegates will all leave who they are for and go to Hillary.

Morris characterized his theory as the "establishment scenario," suggesting that he believes moderate Democrats will do everything in their power to prevent Sanders from securing the Democratic nomination.

"Hillary is the only candidate that they'll be able to come up with that can measure up to Donald Trump," Morris said.

Morris went on to say that if Sanders does win the Democratic nomination, then President Donald Trump will not only "massacre" him in the general election, but the Democratic Party as a whole, predicting Democrats would lose upwards of 60 seats in the House.

Nah, I don’t believe that, democrats would tweak at her trying to cut in line like that. Only the staunched leftards would show up to vote for her.
If BLM and ANTIFA can’t slaughter democrats, Sanders sure won’t either.

I didn't have to go any further than "Dick Morris predicted", never finished reading the rest. A prediction from that idiot is almost as bad as a prediction by James "Ragin' Cajun" Carville, another leftist idiot from the Clinton camp.
