Sure there is hunker in your bunker until it is over. You preppies should have this all down and ready. Time to tunnel under and don't come up 'til autumn.

What happens when the bank forecloses and kicks you out of your bunker because you’ve stayed home from work for six months?

My bunker is paid for. Its the heat and electricity Im worried about.

Don't worry, Trump is going to win another term. His administration is trying very hard to eradicate Affordable Care Act including popular coverage for pre-existing conditions.

Expect large factories to get slammed w folks being sick. Or supplier issues.

May not get sick....

But could be laid off for some time.

Leroy:

The influenza epidemic of 1917 lasted for five years. We have a vastly better transportation system today than we did then. But still I bet it's gonna last long enough that you're not going to be able to wait it out in a bunker.

Proper hygiene and sanitation and you'll be fine. Something the Asian world seems to know nothing about.

It is so gross here. Everyone's trash gets pilled on the street corners, bathrooms are never clean and soap is sparse. The streets are full of goop, trash and general nastiness. I have but 26 days left here, not that I am counting.

I remember an old movie about WWII and somebody said, "dirty Japs" and I believe it was Frank Sinatra, the anti-war hero of the movie who was 4F in real life, waxing eloquent on how clean the Japanese were, taking baths all the time and such. I realize Korea ain't Japan, but you were talking about the majority of the Orient, I suppose. I figured Korea was pretty clean.

That's actually pretty good odds...

They are much better at that part of it for sure, but their population density doesn't help things much. They are "clean" by Asian standards anyway.

That is mostly because of the nasty air here. The AQI in China is unreal bad.

Every place I've been in Asia, with the exception of Japan and Singapore, have had challenging sanitation issues. Korea is better than it used to be, but it's still grimy. That said Seoul (couple years ago) is better than Portland or Seattle given their recent decline and the rise of homeless tolerance.

Never said I was going to hunker in a bunker. Just tryin' to help someone else.

The transportation system, etc. should get this all over much faster and more violently than the 1917 epidemic.

Everybody's gonna roll the dice. Like it or not, but maybe the bunker hunker will come out on top. Never know.
