Seven people were killed including a gunman during a shooting rampage on the Milwaukee campus of Molson Coors on Wednesday afternoon, according to multiple sources who spoke to the Journal Sentinelsources.
The fire department was responding with ballistic gear, according to radio traffic. Milwaukee police were also responding to what they called a critical incident. They asked people to stay away from the scene.

© Mike De Sisti / Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Emergency vehicles are at North 35th and West State streets. Molson Coors said Wednesday there was an active shooter on its Milwaukee campus.

The company told employees in an email that the active shooter was located in or near South Packaging, Building 4, second-floor stairwell.

The campus was on lockdown, according to Twitter users whose wives work inside. The women were told to stay inside their offices. One woman reported multiple ambulances on scene.
James Boyles spoke with the Journal Sentinel. He said his wife, Lasonya Ragdales, works at Molson Coors in the claims department. She has been told that there is an active shooter and she is locked in a room with co-workers. She was texting him from inside the building.
Police responded at 2:11 p.m. to 4115 W. State St. for a report of a shooting, according to call logs.
Paramedic units from Milwaukee and West Allis were dispatched to the scene, according to emergency radio traffic provided by Broadcastify.
Officers from the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office, Marquette University Police Department and the U.S. Marshals were also responding.
Police blocked off the scene at North 35th and West State. Highway 175 was also closed at West State and Vliet.
Nearby Marquette High School, 3401 W. Wisconsin Ave. was locked down, according to an employee. Story Elementary School was also locked down, according to a Journal Sentinel reporter at the scene.
Woodlands School, 3121 W. State St., is under lockdown as well. Andre Kimbrough's son is inside. He said he, along with many other parents, went to pick up their children like usual around 3:15 p.m. but got a call from the school about the lockdown. Many parents are circling the block waiting for an all-clear.
Kimbrough said he could see a "stream of police cars," ambulances and fire trucks. He felt good that the kids were safe inside.
"I'm more worried about how they feel," he said. "They must be kind of freaking out."
About MillerCoors Molson Coors Beverage Co., which operates MillerCoors, on Oct. 30 announced plans to close a Denver office and relocate hundreds of corporate support jobs to the Milwaukee office, 3939 W. Highland Blvd.
The brewer now has 610 jobs at the Milwaukee office. Corporate functions based there include human resources, financing and information technology.
Also, the main brewery on West State Street and a smaller, recently expanded brewery, at 1515 North 10th St., together have 750 jobs.
The restructuring announced last fall is designed to cut costs, with 400 to 500 jobs being eliminated throughout Molson Coors. The consolidation also will bring together employees in central locations so they can better work together.
Molson Coors has seen continuing sales declines as it faces steadily increasing competition from craft brewers, as well as other makers of alcoholic drinks. Its recent name change, from Molson Coors Brewing Co., reflects increased investment in cider, seltzer and other alcoholic drinks.
This story will be updated.

"Including the shooter" always makes me wonder by whom? A citizen defending himself and others? A security guard? On- or off-duty cop? Or did the shooter off himself?

Further updates will tell, unless it was a civilian lawfully carrying. Then it'll be glossed over.

Why do you say that?

Certainly wasn't glossed over in that texas church shooting. You are just wanting to whine and run your yap, of course.

Local story for me. The shooter was reported to be an active employee and took his own life. He took out 5 employees. Milw Police, Fire, Sheriff, ATF, FBI, State Justice Dept, Marquette Univ. and several local municipalities all on the scene clearing the 20 buildings and checking out 1000 employees. Politicians running around like crazy offering their words of wisdom and condolences. Press conference delayed a half hour so Gov. Evers can drive here with his entourage to make the news.

He doesn’t.

But he’s got to find away to make the thread about himself.

They want to be something in death that they weren't in life. If they just offed themselves, nobody would know or care. Take others with you and you're front page news. You're still a loser, though.

We don't have that here - and hopefully never will.. But you can bet the damned Dems will, TODAY, bring up some bill to further infringe upon our 2A rights...
