can you guys post some pictures of your scopes mounted with the one piece?

I installed a Simmons one piece base with their unusual ring mounting system on my Model 600. The rings slip over posts that are inserted up from the bottom of the base and are retained with Allen screws. Makes for a setup with less protuberances over the loading port area. It is about as clean as a Leupold Dual Dovetail mount. Scope is a Bushnell 1.5x4, caliber is .308. The bottom metal is a Neil Jones aluminum one piece TG/floorplate.
The Simmons may be long discontinued, I set it up that way back in the 1980's. Perhaps it can be found at a gun show or on ebay.

Wasn't that also the Tasco Pro Class type of ring attachment?

For the record, the Leupold 1 pc mount part number is 50005

I use a 2 pc mount on a 6.5 rem 600 and have not had any issues . So only 1 screw in the back base.

I use several different mounts but all are using one screw on the back. Be well, Rustyzipper.
