I'm wanting to install gas logs in a cabin that I don't get to stay in as often as I like. Lowes has a 100 ib tank I'd like to use. I think I could load/unload that easy enough to and I probably wouldn't have to do it that often. Anything I should watch out for?

That's how we do it. Have 3 #100 tanks. I have them filled when price hits bottom[usually mid summer]. A pallet[with bottom braces removed] flipped upside down will hold 1-2 tanks nice and secure in a truck bed.

Didn't install[step brother has a welding supply/propane shop and did it ].
It appears fairly straightforward though. We did it while building house[lines etc to fireplace].
And yep, that's me-in Christiansburg/Riner.

Find whoever does propane in Hillsville/Galax/Mt. Airy, if you buy from them they'll usually install for cheap to free. https://www.clarkgasandoil.com/
