Most folks won't tell strangers about family problems and i might be one of them.

Here goes:my wife's cousin who i got to know like my own father/Uncle passed away last Sunday at 5:00 am.

He is the one that taught me how to use a lathe and chamber barrels.

His name was H.P.Fletcher he lived in Weatherford most of his life, served a stint in the Army during the Korean war.

He also ran a grain elevator before he went to work for the State of Texas.

While visiting him one last time before his death, that same Sunday my youngest brother's wife got put in the hospital because she had a stroke.

She seems to be responding well and is being sent to rehab in the morning.

Tonight i talked with my Mother about things and found out that they are losing their house later this month.

They have owned up to being the cause and for the moment seem to be wanting to get their stuff together.

I would not ask for myself but if some are so inclined to do so say a little prayer for clarity of mind for them in these trying times.

And also for my Mother to have the strength to go through this crap.

I have not talked with the brother because what i have to say must be said in person.

Thanks if you do.

Prayers sent for clarity on how to proceed in the future. It is NOT the end of the world for them, just a (major) setback.
Although it will haunt them for several years.

Thoughts and prayers from Iowa.

Not a real member - just an ordinary guy who appreciates being able to hang around and say something once in awhile.

Happily Trapped In the Past (Thanks, Joe)

Not only a less than minimally educated person, but stupid and out of touch as well.
