https://www.armynavyoutdoors.com/usmc-filbe-gov-issue-complete-pack-coyote-surplus

Packed some meat out this last fall with my day pack, not far, about a mile but took two trips for a medium sized whitetail buck. Kinda looking for something that works better than a day pack without breaking the bank and this doesn’t look like a bad option. Anyone used one or if not is there anything about it that stands out as a ‘no go’?

I dunno about the FILBE but I could get 2 whitetails in my ILBE, maybe more. Boned of course. That bag will carry more than I can lift.

It would work but for the same money this would be a bit more practical and comfortable

There's a guy on youtube that reviewed the FILBE vs the ILBE. He took both for 2mi hikes with hills. FILBE was the surprise loser. I have an ILBE and it handles heavy loads with surprising comfort. I guess I shouldn't be surprised for a pack designed by Arcteryx

I’d seen that one before. Didn’t know what to make of it though.

Decent feedback from a lot of people who don't want to spend a lot of money and get a functional, not great, pack for hunting.
