Nice photos. But hate’em lol.

We had a very healthy fox population. Both red and grey before these guys showed up.....now the foxes get a free pass. And I’ll go out of my way to run over a coyote given the opportunity.

I'm with Pat on this one...

I will still hunt them, and I will still kill them....

But above all I'll admire them.

Yeah...they outsmart me as often as not....and it just makes me grin. grin

I have often said though, if you can hunt coyotes and kill them consistently...you can hunt anything. They allow you no mistakes.

Like others said, great animal, but shoot every one that I can. Shot eight this year and may not be done.

that lone coyote sure looks to have some red in his fur, is it the lighting in the photo or is that common in MT.? The pair look more like what I'd expect to see up there, as far as color.

Much like around here, I suppose there can be that much color variation.

Cool photos.

Laws aren't preventative measures. In other words, more laws won't prevent gun crime from happening.

That photo was taken just after sunrise so likely the light hitting some dark area causing the red tint. In that area that is a mix of darker ones but most have that pale look.

I have more photos to see if that one is indeed part red fox (-;
But I know that can't be true since red fox are now extinct.

Many have said/believe that coyotes and cock roaches are probably the only things as adaptable or more than humans and may outlive our time on this planet...
