I have a lot of IMR4350 and looking to start load development for my rem mt. Rifle in a 243. Looking for some load suggestions / starting points with IMR4350 and a Barnes 80gr TTSX. Thanks in advance.

I used 45.0gr of H4350 in my one 243, RL17 works best in all my 243, with the Barnes 80gr TTSX

I don't know that IMR 4350 is going to be the best powder for that bullet. Hodgdon doesn't even list it in their guide for 80 grain. They do list H4350 in the guide for the 80 gn. Hornady GMX.
I shoot Hodgdon Varget in my 243 with the 80 TTSX and it does well.

I have a pile of h4831sc that I tried after I ran out of imr4831, but didn’t get near the same results. Moved to the next abundant powder, imr4350. I’d like to give it a go since I have a pile of it. It worked very well in my 25-06 with the 80gr ttsx!

It works great. I used 48gr in my .243AI, IIRC.

Neck sized Remington cases

Barnes 80gr. TTSX bullet
COAL is 2.620"
Heavy factory type crimp using Lee factory Crimp die.
1/4" 3-shot group at 100yds.
So far killed mule deer doe at 200yds. Hard quartering uphill shoot behind shoulder. She went 20yds and nose dived into the ground.

Nothing like a Remington 700xcr.
