Thw merchant marine and U.S. Navy never has received the credit so bravely earned fighting on the north Atlantic. This movie will honor their sacrifice.

Action In The North Atlantic was an alltime favorite movie for me. There was a book of the same name in our school library I had to read a time or to as well!!!

My step grand dad re-joined the Navy in 1942. He went to the east coast on a Corvette chasing German subs. About half way through the war he fell and hurt his back. He was dropped off at the Brooklyn Navy yard to re-coop and was then sent to the west coast where he took Marines into Iwo Jima.

I know a merchant marine WW vet. He’s in his 90s. They don’t make ‘em like that anymore.
