Just picked up a Winchester sx-3 20ga turkey gun. Looking at optics for it, what do you guys like red dot or scope?

I have a JPoint red dot sight mounted on my Mossberg 935 turkey gun. I really like it, much easier to use than open sights.

SX-3 NWTF has cantilever barrel, should just bolt on. I will look into these. Thanks

im setting up two turkey guns and have the burris FF3 and the Vortex venom.

I like the off and on feature on the FF3 over the vortex, but venom gives you more brightness settings. Each is good, but I lean towards the FF3.

One of those large diameter body types where you get a large circle and dot reticle may be nice for size and range estimates like a turkey plex scope.

Other than that, How was the show Mrs. Lincoln?

10-4. You can get them with a base or without. The one with the base may be the ticket for you.

I’ve used truglo gobble stopper and really like them, still have one on an 870.
Ran a burris ff3 two years and liked the small size and low mounting ability.
Put a scope on my main gun this year. I think I’ll like the scope better but will have to tell you fir sure after a few hunts.
I really don’t think you would be disappointed with either

Got a good deal on a Burris FF3 off flea bay. Should be here in a few days. They seem to get pretty good reviews.

Red dot all the way

I may not be smart but I can lift heavy objects

I have a shotgun so I have no need for a 30-06.....
