Schandelmeir scratched. I'm not surprised. As much as he and zoya love self-promoting and calling out people, they are the most non-performing kennel in alaska. He attempted twice, scratched twice. Zoya ran 8 races, scratched 6 times. They must have WDH as a dog handler.
Hopefully, Lance makes it to Nome in good shape. He is the life of the party. Many of the mushers and fans will love to cheer him under the burled arch.
WDH, i started this post for positive replies ,i have lived with dogs in the family all my life ,i even have had a black lab save my life from a very nasty angus bull ,my lab got hurt but lived and a spankin for going into that bull pen.dogs were put on this earth by our dear lord for our use like sled dogs,family enjoyment, hunting,even protection. >so should police and our soldiers use dogs for their protection even if many dogs die in that line of work ?
