I think there was some on Kenny Jarrett's web site at one point. I would start with 6 x 284 or 6-06 loads and stop at 5% more or when the chrono starts showing anomalies. Have you tried contacting Jarrett?

I have a friend with a catbird and will see what data he has. I remember seeing one of Kenny’s guns with two barrels, one being a .243 Catbird, for sale a while back. Talked to my buddy who has numerous Jarrett rifles and he had nothing but praise for the catbird.

Forgot to add the 240 Weatherby would also be a good starting point for load work up. Also you might find loads for the 240 Gibbs, I am not sure but it probably holds 2-3 grains more powder than the Catbird but pretty close.

For fire forming it was RL22 57 grs. 9 1/2 M rem primer 70gr nosler BT.
Full load 85 TSX RL22 61 grs. FPS 3787
Full load 70 nosler BT RL 22 63 grs. FPS 3944
This is from a 26 in. krieger They are not hot in my rifle work up to these loads. All three of these loads shoot very well.

I have a 12ga. I don't need a 30-30.

I realize this is a very old thread, but rather than make a new one and have the load data elsewhere, I will add it on here.

Rifle - Sako AIII, 27" Hart Barrel, 1:12 twist Winchester 270 cases, CCI 250

Fire-Forming load 53gr Vectan Tubal 8000 70gr Nosler Ballistic tip 3450fps

58gr Reloader 23 85gr Barnes TSX 3845fps
65gr Ramshot Big Boy/Magnum 87gr Hornady Spire Point 3828fps
65gr H1000 87gr Hornady Spire Point 3786fps
67gr Retumbo 87gr Hornady Spire Point 3778fps
70gr AA8700 87gr Hornady Spire Point 3477fps - Out of Capacity
65gr Ramshot Big Boy/Magnum 85gr Barnes TSX 3871fps
60gr Reloader 22 85gr Speer BT 3739fps
61gr Reloader 23 85gr Speer BT 3902fps
60gr Vectan Tubal 8000 85gr Speer BT 3749fps
64.5gr Reloader 23 55gr Nosler Ballistic Tip 4382fps

Make sure to start low and work up. The above load posted by 1lesfox of 61gr of RL22 behind the 85gr TSX was WAY too hot for my rifle and these loads I posted may be WAY too hot for your rifle as well.

I plan to machine 2 more barrels with 1:10 and 1:8 twist for the same rifle and will post that heavy bullet data as well.

Run it up, until you blow it up, then back it down a bit.
