Local news just reported that Congress is shutting down because of the media panic for Coronavirus. My question - what is next? Shutting down the internet I suppose - CV19 goes digital... Sarcasm boys, Sarcasm.

Congress has a week off scheduled. If AOC, or any of them, are trying to tie other poison pills to this, they need to be fired. Do the right thing! Keep it simple and don't tie ugly things to it.

Better idea- - - - -get them all together for a "joint session" (I'll even chip in to help buy the weed) and then dump a dose of Corona virus into the air handler for the HVAC system where they're meeting. Then they can all go home and hack up a lung for a few weeks, and with a little luck the dinosaurs like Pelosi, Clyburn, Maxine Waters, Schumer, Feinstein, etc. won't survive to stir the pot after this blows over. Sort of a graveyard version of term limits!

I've been saying for years that it should be illegal for congress to attach unrelated riders to bills. A lot of expensive and unsavory legislation has been passed that way.
