It is difficult to come by.
I have been reloading for the 33 WCF for over 20 years. Brass is available.

I do have some original Winchester boxes of 200 gr
made in the 1950s. The price would be prohibitive as they go from $75-s95.

There is a place in MD. called Quality Cartridge. They used to make brass and cartridges available.

That boat left the dock a long time ago....I use to shoot those in my 338/06, loaded to 33 Win Velocities..

I stopped at a GunShop, sporting goods store in Coeur d"Alene Idaho back around 2009 or 2010 when they discontinued that
bullet... I think that shop must have bought ever box of them Hornady Had left....they had 800 boxes of them in their inventory..
$10 a box...I think I bought 4 or 5 IIRC...

my load in my 338/06 with them was 35 grains of SR 4759 which gave an MV of 2400 fps... from a 24 inch barrel...

Buffalo arms, old western scrounger, and vantura munitions all offer custom loaded 33 winchester ammo. Buffalo arms makes a jacketed 200 gr. that's just like hornadys discontinued slug that works great.

The 200FTX would NOT feed in my take-down 1886, because the tip got stuck in the slight gap between the magazine-tube cap and the tube. But it would feed if I filed the tip flat--to resemble the 200 FN Hornady.

The 210 Nosler Partition also works very well if you file the soft-nose off down to the top of the jacket--which results in just about exactly a 200-grain weight. The front end's lead alloy is very soft and expand well at .33 velocities.
