Yes, plus, filler screw may be a little proud of the tang, the thumb wrapping around the rifle right over that screw could have easily removed the blue over the years, I would have no issues with that screw, hope you buy it, I love mine.

It was not factory and shows that somewhere along the line the gun sported a tang sight.

Stock has been refinished at some point in its life. Could be a great shooter but don’t pay collecter value for it.
