Local shop had a Ruger day Saturday, selling them for 175 and you got a free ruger hat and tshirt. I let my son pick out the color. He liked the silver one. People were buying 3 at a time, toting them out left and right. They had the lcp 22 for 279, I almost did it, but deciding against it.

I finally shot mine last night with some friends. I think you will be happy with it. Was shooting spinners at 20 yards and a 12” gong at 60. Some of the friends had never shot pistols before and had no trouble on the gong. Lots of smiles. It’s a great little plinker and helps keep ammo cost down by making them slow down.

I've got a black Wrangler. It shoots "off" from the sights with LR ammo. With CB Shorts, it shoots right on. I'm okay with that, as I have other .22 handguns with adjustable sights, and they're lighter weight besides.

they had a pretty good sale, couple ruger reps there too. One was a pecker head, one was pretty cool...I had really wanted the new lcrx 3in 22lr. The cool rep offered to have me one there the same day...don't know how... but they ended up being out of stock. Evidently there is a warehouse close by I've never heard of.

10/22 with scopes for 189, the new 5.7 for 599, 9mm carbine 429, a man could have gotten himself in some trouble in there.

I bought one a few months ago.....I’m terrible with a handgun but it shoots well enough for me. I bought it to mainly shoot rats in the feed room with shotshells.

I think you’ll enjoy yours.

it is a shame we cannot have a 22 like this in a smooth bore. Or 22mag, even better. I know, no chance.

$179 now at Sportsmans warehouse. More enjoyable than a mountain of toilet paper that will collect earwigs

Why a Wrangler over a Single Six or Bearcat?

They must be selling like crazy. I still haven't seen one in person. Local gun shop says they've been on order for quite a while. In that price range I'd sure like to check one out. But it's not as if I don't have any rimfire handguns. My Single Six Convertible will keep me happy while I'm waiting to see a Wrangler.

I had a black Wrangler held at a LGS. Got there and looked at a Ruger LCII 22LR as well and decided it might be more fun, and empty cases don’t have to be picked out one at a time! Have not shot it yet.

I recently picked up an antique bronze. Already had a black and 2 silver. I'm wanting one of the OD models. I have one on order and looking forward to it coming in, just don't know when, but the dealer promised me one. Works for me.

I picked up a Black for $189 and later a silver for $162 and have been pleased with the accuracy of both. Sights are dead one and after a little file work on the frame the cylinder on the silver is spinning free now. The loading gate on both of them remains stiff and it does slow down the ammo consumption with a single action revolver. .

My Single Six convertible 6.5" barrel was passed down to a son who would use it much more than I could and that has proven to be the case. He absolutely loves it as a side arm to his .17HMR,

The Wrangler is a terrific bargain and some more knowledgeable than me have commented on some of the similarities with the Single Six.

At that price it's definitely a Rough Rider killer.
