While picking up a rifle that I purchased from here I noticed my ffl holder. I noticed he had a gun hanging on his wall. My first glance I thought it was a weatherby from a white inlaid diamond. When I asked him about the rifle he said it was a Winslow. A Winslow bushmaster regent grade in 30-06 built on a Mauser action. He showed me the gun, it was basically unfired but the finish on the stock was starting to craze some. It wore a 4x leupold in Redfield rings and bases. I instantly fell in love! He is selling the rifle for a widow. What is the deal with these guns?? What’s the thing worth?

Winslow was a small, almost semi-custom maker from the 70s, if I recall correctly. I can't help with pricing. One is listed on Gunsinternational.com, but I don't know if it's the same model.

Winslow was around during the period of "gun glitz" styling, ala Harry Lawson, Roy Weatherby, "Cochise" thumbhole stocks, white line spacers, reverse-taper forends, etc. Most of them are a bit "over the top" compared to today's styles. Otherwise, good rifles as I've read.
