We don't have an ongoing thread with DOG pictures??? Just dogs, or dogs in action. I know I never get sick of looking at dogs. All breeds any breeds, mutts, I love stories about dogs. Plus when ya know someone it's even better, & we all kind of know each other some what. It's like going to the races when ya know someone that's competing, nice to cheer them on. Well what do ya think??? OK !!!! Let's do it. Bill out. πΎπ£πΎπ£π¨π¦
My drahthaar boys. Got yelled at for rough housing in the family room and ran to their bed. Hard to stay mad at them lol. Bane is the black dude, and Harvey is the brown cousin.
Love the picture with the stacked wood and the pump. DDβs are awesome and probably the breed Iβd most consider if I switched up from Boykins. Here are some of my chocolate possums:
Evnin gents, Ribka, is that a Visla? Had one years ago & him along with any I've seen are slimmer looking, he looks like a healthy specimen almost houndish . I like heavier dogs, they can't run as hard as the lite small boned dog but they just look better more stocky. I'm older & (more stocky) now to so don't cover as much ground anymore either so it works for me. Keep em coming guys this gets better every day!!! Bill out. πΎπ£πΎπ£π¨π¦
Sorry!! Hope I didn't insult your dog!!! Wasn't my intention!!! Hound like is not an insult, I once had a black & tan that would run deer, coyotes, & tree coon and barked diff for each one, then she'd go retrieve ducks with the best of them. Bill. πΎπ£π¨π¦
You asked for some pics. Decided to show the two pairs of GWPs I have had over the past two decades. First pair have been gone for over 6 years. Current pair are now 3 and 6 yrs old. So many adventures and so quickly the time passes.
Thor and Abbey first pair of GWPs. Thor was a black and white from Treborwolf kennels in Boise Id.
Thor with rescue Abbey who made it to 14 1/2
The transition with old Abbey, and very old Thor with young Asa
Current two GWPs Asa at one year old Asa with a double limit of mearns when she was two The newest recruit Oli with Asa

Not offended. He was big and athletic for the breed. My wife found him at a breeder and wanted him. He didn't have the best breeding, had seizures but turned out to be a great dog and lived a long time. It took about 3 years to get him fully trained. The first year he became gun shy for some reason and took a lot to recondition him.
Love the griffs and often clownish and goofy the ones I have had were all business hunting. I always try and get my dogs on as many wild birds ass possible the first 3 years of their lives. Looking at picking up a pudle pointer this summer and talking to different breeders.
