I thank Ralph for passing on what he knows freely and altruistically.
He could improve his efforts considerably if he stayed out of some of the shadow areas and then curtly dismisses anyone who asks questions or disagrees with him about the shadow areas as being liberal scum, etc.. Maybe he missed the day "bedside manner" was discussed. I don't know.... his theory that the corona virus was designed so they could lock us all down while they round up the Clinton's and all the rest of the "deep state actors" and execute them seems fairly plausible to me? Actually, Jack, it wasnt my theory. I was blessed to know a guy who trusted me and was recently retired from the military Intel field of research with friends still in the business and with WH connections who clued me in to WTF was going on. He would not reveal classified info but he pointed me in the direction of some who are in the know about stuff going on that can not be revealed in specifics just yet to protect the white hats work to completion without tainting "work or findings or evidence" ...... So tell me jag, do you support these kinds of actions in theory? Sounds like a totalitarian state using the cover of a contrived crisis and martial law to round up and execute people without due process. You OK with that, as long as it's just the right people being rounded up?
A wise man is frequently humbled.

The shear scope of the subject area in which Jag posts should not be accompanied by the belief that he also has a broad medical education and subsequent subject matter expertise.
We'll just have to disagree, and that's fine. I think I'm in a position where I can tell who knows what they're talking about in the field and who doesn't. I have a pulmonologist living directly across the street from me, an ENT directly next door and an ER doc three doors down. These are my friends I talk to all the time. I run with orthopedists, neurosurgeon, internists, radiologists as well as beaucoup in the various specialists in my own field. My old roomate from MCG is a thorasic surgeon. You don't think we used most of the same textbooks for anatomy, pathology, radiology, phamacologiy etc.? When we get together, we talk about endless subjects that cross over and intertwine in our professions. They want to know how this or that is affecting my field and I want to know how things are in theirs. I have to be up to snuff on my patients current medical conditions, what they are diagnosed with, what they are taking and how the are treated as it relates to my treatment and their health. Therefore, spend a lot of time with MD's and they all want to know how their treatment affects oral conditions and treatment. In other words, we are full team of healthcare providers covering the overall picture the best we can. The more info we share, the more we know. I don't mind that you might may think Ralph or I go out of our lane from time to time, because what matters more is our interaction with our peers and the respect we have for each other. I suppose if you're not directing in field, it might not make sense, so I have no reason argue your viewpoint. I naturally see it different. I thank Ralph for passing on what he knows freely and altruistically. My comments have nothing to do with you or who your neighbors are. Do I really need to publish a survey of threads started by Ralph—of the moon-bat positions he takes on myriad subject areas outside his, self-described narrow, professional practice. Ask your doctor friends and neighbors if they’d endorse an optometrist who manically posts freeform cut and past conspiracy theory nonsense on an internet forum while many readers believe he’s a medical doctor in the conventional sense, like they are. Ask them if they want to share the professionalism society affords them with optometrists. There’s a reason there’s a distinction, it’s because they’re distinct.

Doc is an optometrist. By what I've been able to ascertain, he knows his stuff and has my respect. +100 He’s a good man too!

Deep State type stuff, like his and mine pm dialog was being read. The good guys never post any more. One man’s “Asshôle List” is another’s “Good Guy List”.

Hmm, maybe time to put Kingston back on ignore.

He is neither an MD or a PhD.
He is an optometrist. He did not got to medical school.
He did go to optometry school, which I can assure is just as vigorous. Main difference in duties between optometrist and opthamologists is optometrists do not perform major eye surgery. Depending on which state they practice they can do lesser surgeries. Other than that, the fields pretty much fully overlap. Most opthalmology groups will incoporate optometrists on board. I have a cousin who s is an optometrist, therefore my familiarity. Doc is a sharp guy in his field. I don’t doubt, question or minimize his expertise in his field, but he is not a medical doctor in the conventional sense. He does not have the broad training characteristic of Allopathic and Osteopathic medical education. Vigor [sic] has nothing to do with it. Most advanced degrees earned in full residency programs are rigorous by their very nature. However, this does not mean everyone with one of those degrees should garner the same professional status as someone who’s completed allopathic or osteopathic medical school training and ABMS board certification. The shear scope of the subject area in which Jag posts should not be accompanied by the belief that he also has a broad medical education and subsequent subject matter expertise. Who said I was?

I remember the time on an airplane when a passenger had a heart attack. The stewardess called out, “Is there a doctor here”?
A fella about 8 rows back stood up and announced,”I have a PhD in psychology. I can help”.

I argue with Brian all the time and fight with him like a brother over all sorts of topics... His perspective is very specific and minutiae driven. Try and go outside of that circle to defend your position and he’ll own you for it - albeit keeping the discussion or disagreement on the original topic. Brian, isn’t a “know it all”....He’ll freely say he has no idea on a subject matter, rather than spout something to fill a void of information. 😎

There’s no such thing. I’m aware. Just misspelled psychology. Would it be funnier if it was a mycologist?
