Looking to help a bud buy new glass in the 1000-1500 price range. Hunting is primary use, wants to spin turrets, zero stop.

Anything else is open

They are great scopes, I have zero complaints.

Take a look at the NF compact 2.5x10x42 if 10x is enough for you it is a great little scope.

Picked up a Leupold 3.5-10x40VX 3i CDS ZL about a month ago. Really like it. About 1/2 to 1/3 of stated budget. Clicks not a solid as a Night Force SHV but still easy enough to feel and adjustments stay put. Scope is much smaller and can be mounted closer to centerline with the 40mm objective and 1" tube. Shot a couple at a steel plate at 400, then zip down to zero and shoot a couple at 100, then back to 400 then back down - did that 4-5 times and hit as expected each time. Pretty neat hunting setup. Glass on the VX3i is pretty good also.

And they have a great warranty.

I'd just go NXS 2.5-10x42 or 6x Swfa.

Love the idea of a Toric but this screams Nightforce to me.
