Took another one today. A real man. Never took a dime he didn't earn, raised three kids into productive adults, worked until he couldn't. Loved to hunt and fish, and drink some beer and have fun. Served his country and played guitar with a young Elvis Presley in Hawaii serving as an MP.
Might even be seen in Blue Hawaii in the background and be proud as hell of that. Grew up in a one room shack in the middle of 400 acres of mountain land and went to a school that had 12 grades in one room. Worked his way up through the prison system and sure wasn't afraid to Wade in kick some ass if it needed kicking.
Kind of man that's getting fewer and far between these days. Went out beat to hell but never quit fighting.

My Uncle. Mom's brother, and growing up her best friend. Other than Dad, I think he still was.
Looked like Kenny Roger's when I was a kid in the 70's and 80's, Chicks loved him and men respected him.
I'll always remember him like that....shirt unbuttoned, slicked back hair, always a cigarette in his mouth. One of a kind. Cigarettes took him out in the end.
