WTF? Why on earth would he be telling the medical community how to treat it's patients? — Sisolak signed an emergency order earlier Tuesday barring the use of anti-malaria drugs for someone who has the coronavirus. The order restricting chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine came after President Donald Trump touted the medication as a treatment and falsely stated that the Food and Drug Administration had just approved the use of chloroquine to treat patients infected with coronavirus. Sisolak said in a statement that there’s no consensus among experts or Nevada doctors that the drugs can treat people with COVID-19.

Statists doing what statists do.
Another Totalitarian trying to accrue more power.
Imagine a corporate oligarchy so effective, so advanced and fine tuned that its citizens still call it a democracy.

Read in another article that he was concerned that supplies would be depleted for suffers of lupus and RA. But still...

As an rph, I will not fill a prescription for it unless it's an active case and then only enough for the course. Some folks (md's) are trying to get rx's for large quantities so they can hoard it in case their family gets sick, while others that are sick (or have lupus, etc) have to do without their medication. To me, that's no only unethical, it's immoral.
