I'm hoping someone will offer to sell me with a couple 7x64 Breneke cartridges. I acquired a postwar small ring BRNO that I believe to be a Model 21 or 22. Someone stamped the barrel 280 but fully resized 280 brass is hard to chamber. However, I belive it could be 7x64 Breneke since that was a factory offering at the time.

That would be the correct way.
Shew me thy ways, O LORD: teach me thy paths. "there are few better cartridges on Earth than the 7 x 57mm Mauser" "the .30 Springfield is light, accurate, penetrating, and has surprising stopping power"

Chamber cast is best to see what it really might be. Not sure a 280 re-chambered would clean up a 7X64. a 280AI might. I have plenty of 7X4 brass, if you want one PM.
