Grade II had engraving. Grade one did not have it.

I have two BARs in 338WM, 1969 and 1990. The 1969 has checkered grip for front hand and rear hand, but no engraving anywhere on the metal.

I have a Belgium BAR new minus the box. From the mid 80's. Been sitting in the cabinet since I bought it in 87. Never had a round fired thru it. Was a Christmas present that is too pretty to hunt with. Chambered in 270.... Seems a waste to not hunt it but I have 3 other 270's so its probably there for the duration. Beautiful gun tho for sure.
