even if we had 100 million retired people, at $1200 each, we just be at 120 B.... unless of course, they keep repeating the 1200 thing

I can get a get a pack of cheap hot dogs for a $1 at Aldi. Today and there’s 8 in that pack. Pack of buns $1

Eggs at my Aldi were .60cents a dozen last week.



Costco 1.50$ for one dog, you get em to pour some soda in your palms?

Bottom line, poor people do not need to be eating out. That’s a luxury.

I agree 100%. Being a radical, staunch conservative, I normally abhor free hand-outs anyway.

But in a day where it often pays better to be on welfare.....would prefer the bailout money go to those that actually marry, raise a family, and choose to work. Like so many others, in past generations.

If those folks are having a hard time, give mine to them.

Wife and I worked 2 jobs each and created two business we each ran on the side. Paid my home, land, cars off before 30.

I didn’t pay my home off at age 29 by spending my money eating out at McDonald’s ever phooking day.

Driving back from a week in a condo on the beach now, life is good.

Well, I don't know if I'll get one but if I do, I sure as hell ain't gonna look a gift horse in the mouth. I doubt that $1,200 would raise my total income enough to do me any damage as I've never had enough deductions to go long form anyway. It would be nice if I got a check but if I don't I won't lose any sleep over it. After all, the hood rats need it more that I do.

Good job......I bought an 80 acre farm in 1990. Paid it off by 1992, age 32. Bought another 120 acres in 1996......with my own money.

Frugal living should be rewarded, but government always finds a way to use class envy....successfully.

Yes I don't get it. We have been retried for 7 years and have a nice retirement. Don't need the money but seems the demorats insist everyone gets some. $1400 for us.

AGREED X2 all tax payers should get it ,but the best ideal still would be no taxes for 2020 for American residents and any state or federal elected officials no more salary for 2020 the rest of the year.

I agree, you shouldn't get it and neither should people on welfare and those who are still working. But it's all about the votes. If they leave some people out the cries will be heard to the moon. Politicians might have to show some responsibility. My Heavens!

He's right. We are all socialists now and have been for quite a while......let's say at least since 2009 but the reality is probably earlier than that. The only questions remaining to vote on is the degree of it and how much totalitarianism we are willing to accept.
