My Dazy dog has had 3 seizures in the last 36 hours. I am sorry for your loss Sam.
Can't see to type more. Just had eye surgery and it is making both of them water.

It is never any other way with a good heeler. If he was not stubborn and hard headed, he would not be a heeler. That is what it takes to tell a cranky range cow who really is the alpha.

Sorry to hear Whitey is gone. I hope you or your Dad have a line on a good replacement pup.

My wife had a Heeler when we met. In fact she says the only reason she married me is I was the only guy she'd met that Timber liked. lol
What a fuggn guy. She got him out the back door of the pound he'd been declared a dangerous dog and was going to be put down. He was about 6 months old fending for himself down town in a city of near a million people, wtf you expect a heeler to be all lovey dovey and mellow? Anyways it 'was taken care of' and my wife ended up with him. He never did get completely tame we had to watch him around some people and some situations. But he'd do anything for us and took to our family and friends no problem. Well maybe not my BIL. lol Didn't kill chickens like other dogs we had, he was even fine with the cat. He was one of the best dogs I've ever been around, been gone for 20 years now but I still remember everything about him.

I hope your dog gets better.
I got a 14 yr old that gave me a bad scare about month ago.
Its agonizing cause you csn see they feel like they think they are letting you down.
Which aint the case by far.

Mine is doing way better now.

I hope your dog gets better!

So sorry for your loss.

Losing a good dog is probably the worse pain I've ever felt.

If I can't take all of my dogs passed the pearly gates I just ain't going through. I'm staying with the dogs. That's heaven enough.

He looked like he lived a good one.

You'll have to frame a photo for your father. I'm sure he'd appreciate it.

Sorry about your dog, Sam. My wife and I enjoyed our dogs, too. But it was always heart breaking when one of them finally died. Condolences.

So sorry to hear Cow Dog crossed the rainbow bridge, Sam. Hurts like h3LL.

If the poem is reality, I will be mauled when I cross over the bridge. In my lifetime, 13 have made the crossing. 3 more will head there in the next few years and 3 are 5 yo or less. Miss all of the 13 that are gone and it still hurts to this day.

Good memories, Sam, good memories are what they leave for us.

Good dog, Cow Dog, good dog.

Darn, Sam. Sorry to hear this. You were a blessing for it, however. I think you two will someday be together again.
