Ping pong balls for the win. Once you've wrestled everything else in life is easy. Dan Gable I keep my circle small, I’d rather have 4 quarters than 100 pennies.

My '70 K5 Blazer was the biggest pos that I've ever owned and I haven't bought a Chevy since. Cold with that uninsulated top, rusted, dismal gas mileage, terrible short coupled ride,
My other auto is a .45

Just googled it, only a 20 hr drive. 😁 Same for me, wish it was closer. Had a 70 C10, 76 K5 and 77 K5. Would love to have a 72 blazer. Good luck with your sale.

They look sharp in orange. I also like the green ones, but have never cared for the mustard yellow!

Good luck with your sale - I'm pretty attached to these trucks and kind of like the orange ones. This '71 was in much better shape when I bought it in '92, and is in worse shape now since this pic was taken - rust is taking a toll.

Mine was a '73. 307, 3 on the tree. I got it for a song from a dealer. The shift linkage was worn out and they couldn't find parts. I did some serious checking to find a floor shift conversion kit and made the a real low ball off. They grabbed it just to be rid of it. That was the best deal I've ever got. The kit cost under $50 at the time and took under an hour to install. It worked great. I put 100k on it over the next 7 or 8 years and sold it for almost what I'd paid for it. It seriously needed a 4-spd but when I needed a lower gear, I'd just put it in low. The big issue was the weather stripping around the door windows. It was a special deal, hard to find, and really expensive. I never did replace them. It would have cost as much as it was worth.

Had a 70 and a 71 K5. Great vehicles. Would love another but it would cost too much to fix it up the way I'd want it.

Picked up a 71 K5 in 1980 for $3500. 350 automatic with 11,000 miles on it. Of all the 4X4s I’ve had it was my favorite.
